Introduction to financial planning

Our approach to your plans

Financial planning will usually be an ongoing process, not a one-off meeting.

It is a service that we provide to you rather than some products that you purchase from us (although in many cases we may suggest suitable products to meet your needs).

Our service involves figuring out where you are now in your life, where you want to get to, the options available to get you there and the best route based on your individual views and circumstances.

It might involve looking at any existing plans that you have, working out how these fit in with your objectives and possibly telling you about any “missing pieces” that we feel you should introduce.

You and your money

Our advice process will also involve making sure that everything we do for you is done in the most tax-efficient way, not just for today but also as we think to the future.

Financial planning, and your relationship with us, will be about you and your money.  It will be about how you can use the money and other assets you have, towards what you hope to achieve.

The plan that we formulate together will be monitored throughout your lifetime to keep you on track towards achieving your goals.
