Alistair has worked in financial services since 1978 and brings over 40 years’ experience to the Spectrum team.
Having held various sales and senior management positions with Clerical Medical, Standard Life and Pearl Group, Alistair established his own Independent Financial Advisory practice in 2003, where he, Nadeen and Paul worked together for around a decade.
Independent Advisers Scotland (IAS) was built on strong family based principles and specialised in advising small corporate businesses along with pre and post retirees. IAS was recognised as one of the fastest growing financial services businesses in Central and West Scotland, responsible for over £150 million of clients’ savings, as well as offering corporate and consultancy services.
Alistair retired from business in August 2022 and after a short break was appointed as a Director of Spectrum Wealth Group. He holds Certified Financial Planner status and achieved the Advanced Financial Planning Certificate in 1993.
Alistair enjoys time abroad, including at his holiday home in Spain. He likes to support his local football team, Partick Thistle, and is a member at Glasgow Golf club.
